Preparation: 10 minutes, Cooking: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 125g light canola spread (can also use butter)
  • 7 tablespoons Natvia
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅔ cup skim milk (all milks are fine)

Method

Serves 6

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C, line patty tins with paper cases
  2. Cream canola spread, gradually add Natvia (beat until light and creamy)
  3. Add vanilla, add eggs gradually (beat well after each addition)
  4. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, fold in alternately with the milk
  5. Spoon into patty cases and bake fore 15-20 minutes
